What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade - What It Is

TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

His background matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That should round things out once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Few brokers with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
